Patapat Bridge and Bantay Abot Cave in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

Bantay Abot Cave

A cave down the road called Bantay Abot Cave. Actually it's really a cave. According to our guide, long time ago that was a hill and due to earthquake, the hill fell down and left a hole in the middle. Passing through that hole, you'll see a strong waves hitting the large form of rocks on top.

A view from the high rock is a shallow ocean with waves rushing on bottom rocks. Not a good place to swim due to strong wind, waves and rocks.

A great view of mountains for the hole

Patapat Bridge

Patapat Bridge is a long winding bridge on the bottom of the mountain. a nice curvy view of mountains above the ocean below.
